Hi everyone! I chose white tigers for the animal of the day today. They are so cute! These tigers are recessive mutants of the Bengal tiger. White tigers are normally bigger than the normal colored tigers. Because of their coloration, they have become popular in zoos and entertainments. White tigers can breed with orange tigers and make a subspecies of their own. These animals are very rare to see now, you will mostly find them in zoos. White tigers have blue eyes, a pink nose, white fur, and brown stripes. Their tails can reach a length of 3 to 4 feet. They live in forests and grassy areas, which provide them with shelter. Males weigh between 419 and 569 pounds and females weigh around 350 pounds.
